West Bromwich Albion are reportedly interested in considering Sinisa Mihajlovic for their next manager.

Pardew’s brief tenure was brought to an end at the start of the month. And while Darren Moore has done a superb job since taking temporary charge of the club, relegation to the Championship still appears to be a formality with only two wins from their remaining two games being enough to give them the slightest chance of survival.

The next appointment is going to be crucial. And the Daily Mail has suggested that a number of names are being considered for the post, including Dean Smith, Lee Johnson and Michael Appleton, with Smith currently open to considering the job if approached in the summer.
And interestingly, the Mail adds that Mihajlovic is also being thought about by the Baggies hierarchy. The 49-year-old is currently unemployed having departed from Torino earlier this year.

The job with Torino was the former Serbia international’s sixth job in Serie A, having previously managed the likes of Fiorentina and AC Milan, so he would certainly be a high-profile appointment for the Baggies if anything did come of the reports.
And given that Mihajlovic has had a reputation for being an incredibly fiery character throughout his playing and coaching career, it is perhaps the discipline that he may instil in the squad that may be appealing to the West Brom hierarchy after such a disappointing campaign.
