According to the Daily Mail, West Brom are considering a move for Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke.
The Belgium international – who cost the Eagles £32 million – finds himself out of contract in June.
The Daily Mail say that the south Londoners are ready to listen to offers for their No.20, with West Brom considering a move for him this month.
However, Benteke could also opt to see out the final few months of his contract.
The former Aston Villa hitman has struggled at Selhurst Park in recent seasons, scoring just nine goals in the four seasons since his debut campaign, in which he bagged 15 Premier League goals.

If the Baggies do bring Benteke to the Hawthorns, then supporters should at least take comfort in the fact that Sam Allardyce was his manager for a significant chunk of that 15-goal season.
After the ex-Liverpool man netted against Southampton that season, Allardyce called him a ‘goalscorer’.
The Daily Mail quote the ex-England boss as saying: ‘He is our main goalscorer. That’s 13 goals now in a struggling season, it’s a big catalyst for us and he’s a big reason why we’ve still got a chance of staying out of the bottom three.’

In our view, this would be an excellent signing for West Brom.
Of course, his recent goalscoring struggles make him a gamble.
However, under a manager who’s previously got the best out of him, he could thrive – especially in the Midlands, an area of the world he’ll be familiar with after his success at Villa Park.
