West Bromwich Albion are reportedly close to signing the Leicester City man.

Sky Sports have reported that West Bromwich Albion are close to signing Leicester City’s Jeffrey Schlupp.
According to The Mail, West Brom submitted an improved £11.5 million bid for the 23-year-old winger after their initial £9 million offer was turned down.

The Ghana international played no part in Leicester’s 2-1 defeat by Hull City at the weekend in an omission which prompted theories that his time with the Foxes was coming to an end.
And Sky Sports have now claimed that Schlupp – who made 24 Premier League appearances last term as City won the title – is nearing a move to West Brom.
It goes on to suggest that the Baggies hope to have the deal finalised soon enough so that he is available to face Everton at The Hawthorns this weekend.

It has been a slow summer for West Brom on the transfer front, with a £5 million signing of Matt Phillips from QPR representing their only arrival thus far.
Still, there is a little over two weeks left for manager Tony Pulis to bolster his squad – and bringing in Schlupp would be an excellent start.
