West Bromwich Albion are reportedly keen on Metz ace Vincent Thill.

According to Soccer Link in France, West Bromwich Albion are taking on Norwich City for the signature of Metz playmaker Vincent Thill this summer.
The Baggies are still without a new manager, but seem to be registering an interest in new recruits regardless, with Thill the latest option at The Hawthorns.
Thill, 19, has long been tipped for stardom having come through the Metz setup, with the report noting that Bayern Munich wanted to sign him as a youngster, but he chose to stay with Metz instead.
Last season, the Luxembourg international went out on loan to Pau, and racked up 10 goals and three assists, sparking interest in his signature once again.
Thill is certainly exciting and has a huge future ahead of him with the right move, and already has decent experience having picked up 22 caps on the international stage at such a young age.
He’s a little on the diminutive side though, standing at just 5ft 6in tall, and many will question whether he has the stature to play in England, especially in the Championship.

Norwich’s Premier League status may make them favourites, but having picked Metz over Bayern Munich in the past, Thill has shown that it’s not just stature that he’s interested in – and the lure of more first-team football at The Hawthorns could help West Brom.
It would still be a surprise to see West Brom make a significant outlay without a new manager in place, but Thill is a name to keep an eye on for Baggies fans.
