According to France Football, West Bromwich Albion are one of a number of clubs interested in signing Montpellier midfielder Morgan Sanson.

West Brom will now hope to secure a top half place this season, and having added the likes of Nacer Chadli and Matt Phillips, the Baggies are again looking for more quality.
Now, French magazine France Football are reporting that the Baggies are one of a number of teams interested in signing Montpellier midfielder Morgan Sanson, with the January transfer window set to open.

Sanson, 22, joined Montpellier from Le Mans in 2013, and has really exploded into life this season, becoming a key player for Frederic Hantz’s side.
With three goals and seven assists in just 19 Ligue 1 games, Sanson has starred for Montpellier, and has been the shining light in an underwhelming first half of the season for the club.
Now though, Sanson’s performance are attracting interest, with West Brom believed to be keen – but French duo Lyon and Marseille are also credited with an interest in signing the playmaker in 2017.
It’s even claimed that Champions League outfit Borussia Dortmund are keen on Sanson, meaning West Brom face considerable competition for the midfielder’s signature.
