According to Le Soir, West Brom and Brighton are interested in signing Standard Liège forward Michel-Ange Balikwisha.

The 19-year-old is also said to be on the radar of clubs from Germany.

Balikwisha has impressed this season despite his lack of experience, scoring seven goals in 31 appearances for the Belgian giants.

The teenager also has four assists to his name, while also appearing in a number of different roles to highlight his incredible versatility.

As Transfermarkt shows, Balikwisha has played on the left and right wing this season, as well as at centre-forward.

Additionally, he’s appeared as a second-striker, a centre-attacking midfielder, and also as a left-sided midfielder.

To play six different positions in one season, at 19 years of age, is eye-catching stuff from the Belgian attacker.

If you’re wondering what type of player he is, Le Soir describe him as elegant and skilful in their report.

If West Brom and Brighton really do want Balikwisha, it sounds like they’ll need to act quickly.

Why?

Well, Le Soir claim that the strongest interest comes from Belgium, as Club Brugges have already made contact with Standard Liège over the youngster’s availability.

Balikwisha seems like a great prospect, so it would be a shame to see both West Brom and Brighton lose out on his services to Club Brugges.
