According to the Daily Mail, Leicester City and West Ham United target Wesley Fofana has turned down a new contract as he pushes for a move to the Foxes.
Former Leicester boss Claude Puel told reporters this week his defender is going nowhere.
“Fofana is in a good club to continue his growth with Saint-Etienne and will stay there to continue growing,” Puel said, quoted by Calciomercato.

But it appears the lure of Premier League football is too strong for Fofana.
The Daily Mail now say the 19-year-old centre-back has turned down a new contract in France to pursue a move to Leicester, urging his club to let him go.
“I’d be crazy to say no to Leicester. I am aware of taking a risk by leaving early abroad, but I’m determined and mentally ready. By putting in that sum Leicester are proving they really want me,” Fofana explained.
Leicester are perhaps on the lookout for a long-term replacement for Jonny Evans.
The former Manchester United man turns 33 in January, while title-winning defender Wes Morgan is 36 and unlikely to feature much this coming season.
The Foxes must plan ahead, and 90Min claim Fofana is their number one target.

Brendan Rodgers’ side, however, may have strong competition for his signature as West Ham, AC Milan and Red Bull Leipzig have also been cited as suitors.
Fofana played 17 games for St Etienne last season. Standing at 6ft 3inch, the Marseille-born defender seemingly has a big future ahead of him.
