Everton’s Wayne Rooney is a wanted man in America, with Sam Allardyce seemingly open to the forward’s departure.

Rooney only moved to Everton from Manchester United at the beginning of the season, in a transfer worth £10 million.
However, his fairytale return to his boyhood club looks set to come to an abrupt end.

Everton have reportedly informed Rooney that they will not stand in his way, should they receive an acceptable offer for him in the coming months.
Rooney has had a rather indifferent season at Everton, with his form in 2018 poor.
The 31-year-old has shown signs of age, and it seems that Rooney could now pursue a move to the USA, rather than staying in England.

DC United are said to be prepared to sign the Everton man and offer him the chance to play in MLS.
Sam Allardyce has already confirmed his desire to trim the numbers at Everton, and it seems that Rooney has been deemed an expendable member of the Toffees’ squad.
