Everton’s Farhad Moshiri is reportedly keen on Watford manager Marco Silva.

According to The Mirror, Everton’s majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri wants to bring Watford manager Marco Silva to Goodison Park – but there is a belief that he may stay at Vicarage Road.
The Toffees decided to part ways with manager Ronald Koeman last Monday, less than 24 hours after he led his side to a 5-2 home defeat to Arsenal.
That was Everton’s fifth league defeat in nine Premier League outings, and with just two wins after a summer spending spree, Koeman ultimately had to go.

David Unsworth will be in caretaker charge for today’s trip to face Leicester City, but the search will continue for a new manager – and majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri may have identified his top target.
The Mirror report that Moshiri wants Thomas Tuchel and Carlo Ancelotti, but the name at the top of his wish list is Watford manager Marco Silva.
Silva, 40, was the surprise choice to take over at Hull City back in January, but he quickly silenced his doubters by giving the Tigers a fighting chance of staying in the top flight, and whilst Hull did end up suffering relegation, Silva recovered quickly.

The Portuguese boss moved on to take charge of Watford, and whilst the Hornets have lost their last two games against Chelsea and Stoke City, Silva has his side sitting seventh in the Premier League table after a strong start to the campaign.
Silva could be an exciting target for Everton, but it’s claimed that Silva is unlikely to move on in the middle of the season having only taken charge of Watford over the summer, and Everton may end up having to wait – and that plays into Bill Kenwright’s desire to give Unsworth the job for a little longer yet.
