Watford are reportedly keen on signing the Barcelona hitman.

According to a report from Spanish media outlet Sport, Watford want to sign Barcelona forward Paco Alcacer, and are trying to force through a two-year loan deal for the Spaniard.
The 24-year-old joined Barca from Valencia in the summer of 2016, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £25.5 million, according to BBC Sport, but he has since failed to establish himself at the Camp Nou.
That isn’t to say that he doesn’t still have a lot to offer at the very highest level, though.
He has played second fiddle to Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar before he joined Paris Saint-Germain, so it is hardly surprising that he has found regular first-team action hard to come by.
Spanish publication Sport claims that Javi Gracia is a big fan of Alcacer, and wants to bring him to Vicarage Road on a two-year loan deal.

The report does go on to suggest that the 13-capped Spain international would need a lot of convincing to join the Hornets, though.
Watford do currently have Gerard Deulofeu, however, and the Spaniard might just be able to tempt his fellow countrymen into joining the Hertfordshire based club.
