Watford are reportedly interested in signing Nottingham Forest’s Britt Assombalonga.
Marco Silva’s side have already made contact with the Forest hierarchy last weekend. The report claims that Watford are preparing a straight £10 million offer for Assombalonga.
Troy Deeney is facing an uncertain future at the club, and so, Silva is keen to sign a new striker this summer.

Assombalonga, who scored 14 goals last season for Forest, has emerged as Silva’s preferred option.
However, Watford are not alone in the race for the exciting striker. Burnley and Middlesbrough are reportedly interested in securing his signature also.
Burnley have had a £8 million bid for Assombalonga rejected by Forest, reported by The Daily Mail, but they are preparing another attempt for the 24-year-old.
Boro manager, Garry Monk, has been a huge admirer of Assombalonga, but it looks like the Championship club will probably miss out on him.
The DR Congo-born striker has expressed his desire to test himself in the top flight, so given an option, he would likely choose Watford or Burnley over Middlesbrough.
