Watford are reportedly lining up some January business already with scouts ready to hone in on two players with international pedigree.

Watford started the season in brilliant form as the surprise package of the new Premier League campaign.
Javi Gracia’s Hornets have tailed off of late and are without a win in their last five games.
And that appears to have prompted some forward planning from Watford ahead of the January transfer window in a bid to strengthen the side.
Watford are aiming high too with reports in Italy suggesting they have set their sights on a Milan-based duo with international pedigree for two top footballing nations.
According to FCInterNews, Watford will send scouts to the Milan derby after the international break in a bid to assess defensive duo Mateo Musacchio and Andrea Ranocchia.
Watford are no strangers to the Italian market as a result of being owned by the Pozzo family – who also own Serie A side Udinese.

The report – which has also been carried by Football Italia – from Italy claims Watford will send scouts to the Inter Milan vs AC Milan game on October 21 as they look for a central defensive reinforcements.
Ranocchia, who has 21 caps for Italy, may be a familiar name to Watford fans after the former Inter captain spent time with Hull City under ex Hornets boss Marco Silva.

Musacchio, 28, a six-time Argentina international, has a strong CV having started his career at River Plate before moves to Villareal and then Milan.
