The £12 million signing could net West Bromwich Albion a £4.5 million profit, with Watford reportedly his most likely destination.

Watford are ‘leading the chase’ to sign West Bromwich Albion striker Salomon Rondon, according to the Sun.
Rondon is said to have a £16.5 million release clause which will be activated if West Brom are relegated from the Premier League which, despite a run of two wins and two draws under interim manager Darren Moore, looks likely.
And the report claims Watford have already shown interest in taking the Venezuelan off of the Baggies hands – a year after he was linked with a £30 million move to China.

Rondon, with whom Hornets manager Javi Gracia should be familiar from their spells in Spanish football, has scored 10 goals and set up four in 37 games this season.
And the 28-year-old’s arrival would surely raise questions about the futures of Troy Deeney and Andre Gray at Vicarage Road.

According to the Sun, Rondon is one of several players likely to leave if West Brom do indeed go down, along with defender Jonny Evans.
Would the West Brom striker be a good addition for Watford?
