Derby County are looking to sell Will Hughes. Watford and Brighton keen to sign him.

According to reports from The Sunday People (printed edition page 59), Derby County are looking to sell Will Hughes this summer.

The England U-21 International has played for Derby since graduating from the club’s youth academy. However, Rams manager, Gary Rowett, has made him available.

The 22-year-old made 38 appearances in the Championship last season, and scored two goals and provided three assists.

Good at passing, tackling and providing the killer balls, Hughes is one of the brightest young talents in the Championship.

The report suggests Premier League clubs Watford and Brighton are keen on signing him, with Derby demanding a transfer fee in the region of £4million.

Premier League giants Arsenal have shown a long standing interest in Hughes, but the Gunners are yet make a formal bid for the young midfielder.

Derby have already made a smart signing in the transfer window in the form of former Aston Villa defender, Curtis Davies. The report also adds that there could be more departures from the Pride Park Stadium this summer.
