Watford are allegedly keen to bring the South Korean to Vicarage Road.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, Watford are in talks over a £6 million deal for Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors defender Kim Min-Jae.
The 22-year-old is an 11-capped South Korea international, and is a centre-back by trade.
The Daily Mail claims that the Hornets are keen to bring the South Korean to Vicarage Road, and are willing to pay £6 million in order to obtain his services.
Watford boss Javi Gracia is believed to be desperate to bolster his defensive ranks, but signing Min-Jae would obviously represent a risk, considering the youngster’s lack of experience of playing in Europe.
He does have the physical attributes need to succeed in the Premier League, however.
Nicknamed the ‘monster’, the South Korean stands at 6ft 3in tall, and is strong and commanding in the air.
Min-Jae is a tenacious tackler, and possesses decent pace too.
And for the small price of just £6 million, Watford could very well end up with a real bargain on their hands.
