Talksport are reporting that Watford have targeted the signing of Florin Andone from La Liga side Deportivo La Coruna this summer, but face competition from Fiorentina, Espanyol and Sporting Lisbon.
The 24-year-old has been in impressive form for Deportivo this season, scoring 12 goals and assisting three in his 37 league appearances.
The Romanian international joined the La Liga outfit from Spanish Segunda side Cordoba CF only last summer, with Talksport suggesting Deportivo want at least £17million for the centre-forward.

The report comes just days after speculation mounted regarding Watford captain Troy Deeney leaving the club, with the Daily Mail reporting that West Brom are interested in signing the £25million valued striker.
The 28-year-old has scored 10 goals in 37 Premier League appearances this season as he helped the Hornets avoid relegation, finishing seventeenth.

Deeney’s departure would bring an end to his seven-year stay with the Hornets, where he has scored 106 goals in his 303 appearances since he joined them from Walsall in 2010.
His loss would undoubtedly be a big blow to Watford, but they would have a replacement of considerable quality with the signing of Andone.
