Watford are favourites to sign Inter Milan defender Davide Santon.
Davide Santon
Davide Santon could be set for a return to the Premier League with Watford reportedly keen to sign him.
The 26-year-old came close to joining the Hornets in the January transfer window, but the deal didn’t materialise.
Watford have maintained their interest as they look to beef up their defence under new manager, Marco Silva.
According to reports from the Daily Star (printed edition page 43), Watford are favourites to sign the defender who has one year left on his Inter Milan contract.

The defender has struggled to make an impact in Italy since returning to the Giuseppe Meazza in 2015.
He has made only 14 starts in the Serie A this season, and is expected to leave the Italian giants this summer.
Watford could face a strong competition from other Premier League clubs, with West Ham and Crystal Palace also reportedly having him on the radar.
Davide Santon
This summer is crucial for Slaven Bilic after a disappointing 2016/17 campaign, and the Croatian should be looking to reinforce several areas of the pitch, especially his defence.
Santon can play on both right and left flanks, and should be a good signing for either of the two clubs.
