Rangers winger Barrie McKay has been sent to train with the club’s Under-20’s ahead of a move away.
According to the Daily Mail, Rangers winger Barrie McKay has been sent to train with the club’s Under-20’s ahead of an expected departure from the club this summer.
The Gers have focused their attention on signing new players so far this summer, bringing eight new faces – Bruno Alves, Fabio Cardoso, Ryan Jack, Carlos Pena, Daniel Candeias, Dalcio, Alfredo Morelos and Eduard Herrera – to Ibrox.

Now though, manager Pedro Caixinha must focus on moving players out of Ibrox, with a number of fringe misfits seemingly set to leave the club in the coming weeks.
The Daily Mail now report that winger Barrie McKay has been sent to train with the club’s Under-20’s until he can find a new club, with the Scot seemingly surplus to requirements under Caixinha.
McKay, 22, joined Rangers from Kilmarnock in 2011, and whilst his career with the Gers appeared to be going nowhere, that all changed under Mark Warburton in 2015, as his appointment sparked McKay into life.
With nine goals in the 2015-16 season, McKay starred under Warburton, but he blew hot and cold last term with just six goals to his name – and he appears to have played his last game for Rangers.

The report even adds that former Rangers boss Warburton remains keen to reunite with McKay, as the Nottingham Forest manager is believed to be plotting a bid this summer.
McKay has just one year left on his Rangers contract, meaning that Warburton may feel he can land a bargain by swooping to sign a player that Caixinha seemingly doesn’t want any longer.
