The Nottingham Forest goalkeeper has come under fire from some sections of the support.
Vladimir Stojkovic is still very much a Nottingham Forest player and he could be in the squad to face Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup on Saturday, the Nottingham Post reports – not that the fans will be too ecstatic about his return.
The Serbian goalkeeper has been heavily criticised by many Forest supporters this season with his error-strewn displays contributing to the league’s second worst defensive record.

However, his six month spell at the City Ground was rumoured to be coming to an end recently, with speculation arising that he had terminated his contract ahead of a free transfer to Partizan Belgrade after being left out of Philippe Montanier’s squad in the defeat to Barnsley, as mentioned in the report.
Yet, the Nottingham Post reports that Stojkovic only returned to his homeland for family reasons and will not be on the way out this month.

The 33-year-old could even face former club Wigan in the FA Cup clash at the DW Stadium this weekend, potentially replacing stand-in shot-stopper Stephen Henderson.
But, with the futures of key players Henri Lansbury and Matty Cash very much uncertain, Stojkovic is not exactly the first player most Forest fans wanted to see assured of their future at the club.
