Celtic could yet miss out on loan striker Odsonne Edouard.

According to the Daily Mail, Celtic have decided they want to keep striker Odsonne Edouard – but Paris Saint-Germain could yet veto the deal and send him to Vitoria Guimaraes instead.
The Bhoys swooped to land Edouard on loan from PSG on the final day of the summer transfer window last year, signing him until the end of the season with an option to buy him.
The forward hasn’t always been a starter for Celtic, given competition from the more-established Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths, but he has still contributed eight goals in 25 games this season.
It’s now believed that Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has decided that he wants to sign Edouard permanently, but the Bhoys could yet be foiled in their attempts to secure the youngster’s signature.

The Daily Mail claim that PSG sporting director Antero Henrique has been in talks with Vitoria Guimaraes in his native Portugal about a partnership between the clubs, in which PSG would send young players to Vitoria to aid their development.
One of the key names involved is thought to be Edouard, meaning PSG can veto Celtic’s permanent clause and instead send him to Portugal in what would be a blow for the Bhoys.
Celtic will remain the favourites to sign Edouard for now, but claims of the move being bizarrely scuppered by a mid-table Portuguese club may just give Rodgers cause for concern.
