According to Record, Porto think Vitinha to Wolverhampton Wanderers is dead – and that could allow Tottenham Hotspur to get in and sign him.
Vitinha spent last season on loan at Wolves, and the Premier League side held an option to sign him permanently for around £18million.
The playmaker only started five league games for Wolves last season though, and Porto allegedly view a permanent move to Molineux as a lost cause.
Record note that Porto now plan to keep him on the transfer market until the window closes in the hope that another club come forward and sign Vitinha.
Porto need to raise funds this summer, and Vitinha is maybe a more acceptable sale than a key player like Luis Diaz – another player Tottenham want to sign.
You can’t exactly rule out a double move from Tottenham to sign both players given how Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad needs improving this summer.

Vitinha is on the radar according to Azul Mercado, with Jorge Mendes allegedly offering the 21-year-old to Tottenham in an effort to reunite him with Nuno.
Proxima Jornada billed Vitinha as a ‘magician’ in May as he impressed at the Under-21 European Championships for Portugal, and he is a name to keep a very close eye on if you’re a Tottenham fan.
