Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish is the only signing Spurs are realistically likely to make before the transfer window closes.

There is a chance that Tottenham Hotspur could make no new signings this summer as the transfer window quickly draws to a close.
Spurs are yet to bring in any new additions and with the deadline having been brought forward to August 9 this year, time is running out to change that.

It is not even as if there are lots of deals currently being negotiated by the North London club, with the Daily Mail reporting Jack Grealish is the only incoming transfer that is likely to be completed.
Tottenham also have an injury list that is starting to mount up, which could make the prospect of not bringing in any new players all the more risky.
Victor Wanyama has aggravated a knee problem that kept him out for four months last season, while Moussa Sissoko picked up a hamstring issue during the International Champions Cup defeat to Barcelona at the weekend.

That could make completing the signing of Grealish from Aston Villa – a deal which is still far from being resolved itself – all the more prevalent.
Yet if that doesn’t happen manager Mauricio Pochettino may have to wait until at least January before any new players are added to his squad.
