Aston Villa are still hunting Liverpool forward Rhian Brewster, even though Sheffield United are pushing to sign him, the Sheffield Star report.
The Blades have continued to hold discussions with Liverpool over the weekend, as they look to seal a deal for Brewster in the near future.
However, Villa are apparently refusing to give up in the battle to sign the promising youngster.
Brewster scored prolifically at Championship level last term, and Villa feel he could be a good addition to their squad.
Dean Smith’s side have already splashed the cash on Ollie Watkins this summer, but reportedly feel that Brewster still could be a good addition.
If Smith does only play a one striker formation then Brewster’s chances at Villa may be more limited than they are at the Blades.

Sheffield United seem to need to add a goalscorer, after an excellent first campaign at Premier League level.
Villa are also keen to strengthen their attack, but it would be a surprise if Smith backed his new signing Watkins in the race to be Villa’s main number nine.
