Milot Rashica does not want a move to Aston Villa, even though Dean Smith’s side are ready to pay his asking price, according to Deich Stube.
Villa have been heavily linked with Rashica throughout the summer so far, and are thought to be keen on the rapid attacker.
However, Rashica is not apparently eager to make a switch to Villa any time soon.
Villa only narrowly survived in the Premier League last term, and Rashica reportedly wants a move to a club higher up the table, after fighting off relegation with Werder Bremen last season.
That means that Smith’s side may have to look elsewhere, as they search for attacking additions this summer.
Villa were said to be prepared to pay £22.5 million for Rashica, which Bremen would have accepted, but the player’s desire for a move elsewhere may well put the claret and blues off.

Rashica apparently feels that RB Leipzig are the ideal club for him, although they may not pay Bremen’s asking price.
If Rashica was willing to sign for Villa he could have been a hugely exciting addition to Smith’s side.
The lightening quick forward scored eight times and claimed seven assists in Germany’s top flight last term, across 28 games.
Villa struggled to find a potent scorer last season, but Rashica would have certainly helped in that regard, and missing out on his signature would have to be considered a blow for Smith’s side.
