Aston Villa are now interested in signing Emi Buendia and Todd Cantwell from Norwich City, according to the Telegraph.
Villa are weighing up moves for the Norwich playmakers, who could both be available following the Canaries relegation.
Norwich are determined not to lose their players on the cheap, but Villa may just believe that a deal could be possible.
And both Cantwell and Buendia could be exciting additions to Dean Smith’s squad.
Norwich may have been relegated, but both Cantwell and Buendia did enough to suggest that they are capable of starring at Premier League level in the years ahead.
Cantwell’s style and composure on the ball earned him a lot of praise throughout the season, with Chris Sutton labelling him as an ‘exceptional’ talent on BBC Radio Five Live just last month.

It was said that Norwich want £30 million for Cantwell by the Athletic in January, but Villa may be hoping that asking price has now come down, following Norwich’s relegation.
Buendia, meanwhile, would also likely be an expensive addition.
However, his arrival at Villa could help take some of the pressure off Jack Grealish to create chances, if he does stick around at Villa Park.
