According to The Athletic, French wonderkid Eduardo Camavinga is set to leaves Rennes after being linked to Liverpool and Tottenham.
The Athletic reveal that the 18-year-old has decided not to sign a new contract with the Ligue 1 outfit.
This means that Camavinga will either be sold this summer or the following January.
If he isn’t sold, then Rennes will lose one of Europe’s hottest prospects for nothing in the summer of 2022.
If that happened, it would be catastrophic for the French side.

Camavinga, as aforesaid, is one of Europe’s biggest talents.
The teenager has already made his debut for France, marking the occasion with an overhead kick against Ukraine back in September.
Furthermore, Ligue 1’s official website likened him to Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira, while also describing him as a player who oozes elegance.
The Athletic do not mention Liverpool or Tottenham’s interest.

That was provided by SPORT, who added that Real Madrid and Barcelona are also keen on the talented midfield maestro.
After the news about his contract, we’d presume that many, many more clubs will have had their heads turned.
With his potential, Camavinga could dominate the European scene for the next decade – he really is that good.
