Victor Wanyama is close to sealing his exit from Tottenham Hotspur.

The Mail report Wanyama is expected in Belgium today to complete his transfer to Club Brugge.

It is claimed Wanyama is set to sign a four-year contract.

Wanyama, 28, has another two years to run on his Tottenham deal.

However after starting in the Champions League semi-finals, he has dropped down the pecking order.

He has not played for Spurs in the Premier League this season and the club’s acquisition of two central midfielders shows they are moving forward without him.

The Mail claim Tottenham will receive £13.6 million from Club Brugge for Wanyama.

That’s not a bad fee at all for a player who might already be past his best.

It won’t be easy for Wanyama to prove Tottenham wrong either, out in Belgium.

He signed for Spurs in 2016 along with Vincent Janssen and Georges-Kevin N’Koudou.

While he had more success than the other two, Wanyama’s departure will mean all three have left the club this summer.
