Victor Wanyama could return for Tottenham Hotspur in time for the Christmas pile-up.

Football London has reported that Tottenham Hotspur have been boosted by the news that Victor Wanyama could be fit for the hectic Christmas period.
The Kenyan powerhouse looks to be finally on the mend following a protracted absence from a knee injury which was only supposed to keep him out for a couple of weeks.
The former Southampton midfielder, who hasn’t kicked a ball for Tottenham since September, has been a big miss in Mauricio Pochettino’s midfield and the Argentine must be eager to have him back.

Spurs, who have lost two and drawn two of their last four Premier League games in a run of form which has seen them fall 18 points behind Manchester City, have six matches between now and January 2.
And fans of the North London club are delighted at the prospect of Wanyama – who is still training indoors for the moment – returning in time for those.

Pochettino’s side have a handy run of games in and around Christmas. They face Manchester City away on December 16, but their next three after that are visits to Burnley and Swansea, either side of hosting Southampton at Wembley.
Wanyama, an £11 million signing in 2016, was outstanding last season and Spurs fans will hope he can recapture that form when he returns.
