According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds’ Director of Football Victor Orta is speaking to a young goalkeeper and his representatives today about a potential move to Elland Road.
We don’t know the identity of the player as of yet, as Leeds continue to attempt to keep their transfer dealings under wraps.
However, if this report is to be believed, this player is a young goalkeeper who is playing abroad right now.

The player is reportedly Leeds’ number one goalkeeping target and he was identified at a similar time to Illan Meslier by chief scout Gaby Ruiz.
The Whites certainly need a new goalkeeper after Kiko Casilla moved to Elche on loan for the season.
United have Meslier as their number one, but beyond the Frenchman, there’s a lack of depth between the sticks with the likes of Elia Caprile being too inexperienced to be relied upon.
It remains to be seen who this mystery goalkeeper is, but we have seen Leeds effectively use this strategy before, with rumours of Orta being in talks with an unnamed left-back emerging a few weeks before Leeds signed Junior Firpo.
This is certainly a situation to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.
