According to Superdeporte, Valencia are keen to sign Watford’s Etienne Capoue and will sell West Ham United and Fulham target Mouctar Diakhaby to raise funds.
The Spanish club have gone through a radical change this summer.
Several top players such as Dani Parejo, Ferran Torres and Rodrigo have been sold, with the latter joining Leeds United for a club record £35 million fee.
Valencia owner Peter Lim is seemingly looking to cut the squad and raise funds.

And the latest from Superdeporte says Diakhaby could leave before the deadline, with Premier League duo West Ham and Fulham keen to sign him.
The 23-year-old central defender arrived from Lyon in 2018. He has made 43 La Liga appearances for Valencia and won the Copa del Rey in 2019.
Standing at 6ft 4inch, Diakhaby is quick, strong in the air and good on the ball.
Superdeporte adds that Valencia seek an £18 million fee for the Frenchman, and they plan to use the funds from a potential sale to strengthen their midfield area.
Leicester City’s Adrien Silva was reportedly a target but is now heading elsewhere, with Valencia turning to Watford’s Etienne Capoue as their top priority.
The 32-year-old holding midfielder made more than 150 Premier League appearances for the Hornets. However, he is likely to leave following their relegation.

West Ham have strengthened their defence with the arrival of right-back Vladimir Coufal. A new centre-back, though, may still be on the agenda for the Hammers.
Fulham, meanwhile, are desperate for more quality at the back. The Whites have begun their Premier League campaign with three defeats, conceding ten goals.
