According to Cadena SER, Valencia have opened talks with Tottenham Hotspur over a deal for defender Juan Foyth.
Valencia are allegedly desperate to sign a centre back, and one of the names on the table for them is Foyth.
Javi Gracia is thought to be a fan, and Valencia have now opened talks with Spurs about a deal, which would be a loan.
They want to convince Foyth that he will play regularly this season if he makes the move to Spain, but much will depend on Tottenham.
The report claims that Tottenham have had proposals from Leeds United and Villarreal, and if they choose to sell, then Valencia are out; they can only sanction a loan deal.
It’s pretty clear that the 22-year-old is out of Jose Mourinho’s plans at Tottenham, as he hasn’t played a single competitive game in 2020.

Once one of Mauricio Pochettino’s hot prospects at Tottenham, Foyth just hasn’t convinced Mourinho, and needs to leave in order to play.
Spain is looking like a real possibility now with Villarreal and Valencia both keen, and whilst Leeds may still be in the market for a centre back, the likelihood of Foyth heading there to join up with compatriot Marcelo Bielsa dipped when they signed Robin Koch last month.
