Celtic look set to be without Vakoun Issouf Bayo on Wednesday night.

According to The Scottish Sun, Celtic striker Vakoun Issouf Bayo was spotted limping at the club’s Lennoxtown training ground, and is set for a scan on his injury.
The Bhoys are back in action on Wednesday night, taking on St Mirren having smashed Aberdeen 4-0 on Sunday afternoon, which means rotation may be needed.
It’s unlikely that striker Odsonne Edouard would have been left out given his blistering form, but even if Neil Lennon wanted to, his main backup has gone down now.
Bayo has been sent for a scan on a mystery injury, having been spotted limping at training today, meaning he’s unlikely to be fit to face St Mirren on Wednesday.
The 22-year-old Ivorian has yet to really get going with Celtic since his £2million January move from Dunajska Streda, but his absence leaves the Bhoys massively short in attack.
Leigh Griffiths isn’t back yet, meaning Edouard will have to lead the line with little cover behind him, and Celtic must hope and pray this doesn’t end in disaster.

Boss Lennon has offered an update on the situation, telling the club’s official Twitter account that Bayo picked up a knock on Monday, but should be back to face Hibernian on Saturday afternoon.
That’s at least a boost for Celtic, but Lennon may well be tempted to dip into the transfer market in January in order to bolster his attacking options in order to prevent issues like these in future.
