Stoke City need a new manager after sacking Nathan Jones with the Potters bottom of the Championship table; could Malmo coach Rosler be the hero?

Uwe Rosler is keen on taking over at Stoke City and would jump at the chance to return to England after a spell in Sweden with Malmo, according to the Stoke Sentinel.
Nathan Jones was put out of his misery last week after losing 10 of his first 14 games of the Championship season and the Potters are yet to make real headway as they look for a coach capable of dragging them off the bottom of the second-tier table.
According to the Telegraph, Chris Hughton, a man who has previously lead Newcastle and Brighton to promotion out of the division, has already rejected a tentative approach though David Moyes is interested in getting his managerial career back on track at the Bet 365 Stadium (the Mail).
Tony Pulis, who coached Stoke from 2006 to 2013, is also in line for an emotional return to the crisis-ridden club.
And on Tuesday, with that meekest of home defeats to West Brom still fresh in the memory, another name has entered the frame.

50-year-old Rosler managed Brentford, Wigan Athletic, Leeds United and Fleetwood Town between 2011 and 2018. And the Sentinal believes that he would happily leave Malmo, who will play Lugano in the Europa League on Thursday, for another chance in England.
The former Manchester City favourite is something of a ‘nearly man’ coach. He led Brentford, Wigan and Fleetwood into the play-offs without ever securing promotion and finished second, a point behind Djurgarden, in the Swedish top flight recently.
