Newcastle United midfielder is being tracked by Manchester United.

Newcastle are still locked in contract negotaitons with Benitez, who they want to keep at St. James’ Park.
However, even if Benitez departs, Newcastle are determined to keep hold of Longstaff.
The central midfielder enjoyed a wonderful breakthrough campaign with the Magpies, with his performances attracting the attention of Manchester United.
The Red Devils’ assistant manager, Michael Carrick, is the one said to be pushing for the signing of Longstaff.

However, Newcastle are said to be prepared to reject all of Manchester United’s approaches for their star academy graduate.
Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s side are believed to be willing to pay £25 million for Longstaff, but Newcastle have decided that they won’t be selling the English midfielder this summer.
