Report updates on Marcelo Bielsa’s future at Leeds, after Andrea Radrizzani’s comments

Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa’s future should be sorted in the coming days.

The Yorkshire Evening Post claim that they have been told by sources close to Marcelo Bielsa that his intention is to stick with Leeds United.

Leeds chairman Andrea Radrizzani caused concern among the Elland Road crowd with an interview that he did with TalkSPORT earlier today.

Radrizzani suggested that Leeds were running out of time to secure Bielsa’s future, as they continue to discuss next season.

However, the YEP insist that they have been told that Bielsa is determined to guide Leeds to promotion next year.

The Whites narrowly missed out on automatic promotion this term, and were then beaten by Derby County in the play offs.

Bielsa was understandably gutted when Leeds didn’t manage to secure a place in the Premier League, but the Argentine is said to remain set on helping the Whites get back to the top flight for the first time since 2004.

If Leeds can sort Bielsa’s future out it will be a major boost to the Whites, as they plan to rebuild for next season.
