Marco Silva’s Everton side are said to be interested in signing Moise Kean from Juventus.

According to the Daily Mail, Everton could sign Moise Kean from Juventus this summer.
Juve are willing to sell Kean for £31 million this summer, after tying him down on a new contract, and Everton are said to want to bring him in.
The Toffees reportedly feel he could be their best striker since Romelu Lukaku, who they still haven’t adequately replaced.
Juve reportedly have concerns over Kean’s character, but they know he has a lot of talent.
As a result Juve want a buy-back clause inserted into the deal, which would be set at £40.5 million.
Whether that will put Everton off remains to be seen, as Kean would effectively almost be on loan.
If Kean did well, Juve would almost definitely buy him back with Everton unable to arrange a higher priced deal.
Everton would make profit, but £9.5 million isn’t a huge amount in the modern market.

If Kean did badly though, Everton would be stuck with an expensive asset on their hands.
The rewards for Everton in the deal are, therefore, potentially short-term.
Kean would immediately become Everton’s most dangerous goalscorer, and they would have a high quality striker on their hands.
But if Juve are insisting on a buy back clause, then the deal may not be as good as it seems for Everton.
