Leeds United’s Patrick Bamford has been out since September with an injury.

Patrick Bamford could make his comeback for the under-23s this week, the Yorkshire Evening Post report.
Bamford has been out of action since September when he suffered a knee injury, for the under-23s.
There was criticism from some fans for manager Marcelo Bielsa for playing him in that fixture, but now under-23 football is going to be crucial to Bamford’s recovery.
He was pictured last week scoring a volley in training, an encouraging sign.
Leeds face Newcastle in the Premier League Cup at under-23 level on Friday.
The Yorkshire Evening Post report it ‘would not be a surprise’ to see Bamford in the starting line up.

Leeds have always maintained Bamford was looking at a January first team return, but it is looking like he is ahead of schedule.
Loanee Izzy Brown is already scheduled to feature in the under-23 game, after making his first appearance last week as he recovers from a long term injury.
Even if Bamford ends up sitting this one out, the very notion that he is being discussed as a potential starter shows that he is close and his return to action will not be far off.
Leeds paid £7 million to sign Bamford in the summer, making him their most expensive signing in more than a decade.
