Norwich City will sell Max Aarons amid reported interest from Arsenal, according to The Athletic.

Arsenal are interested in signing Aarons from Norwich in the summer transfer window, according to a report in 90min in April.

The report claimed that the Gunners are looking at the £30 million-rated Aarons as a potential replacement for Hector Bellerin.

The Athletic has reported this morning that Norwich will sell Aarons at a suitable price.

The 21-year-old is a very promising young right-back who has already played over 100 league games for the Canaries.

The youngster scored two goals and gave two assists in 45 Championship matches this season.

Aarons gave one assist in 36 Premier League matches in 2019-20.

Bellerin reportedly wants to leave Arsenal this summer.

Aarons would be a good long-term replacement for Bellerin for the Gunners.

The Norwich star is young, dynamic, scores goals, creates chances, and defends well.

Arsenal fans will also be encouraged to read the following words from Norwich manager Daniel Farke.

NewsBreak quoted Farke as saying about Aarons in March 2021: “In my eyes he is not the young Max Aarons, he is just a special player and he has an unbelievable future.

“Max is outstanding in many topics. I can’t praise him enough for what he has done since his first appearance.

“I know he has been labelled as one of the best young players in this league. Well I told him we can reject this label now because he is no longer one of the best young players, he is one of the best players.”

Aarons is only 21, which means that there is room for improvement and growth in the youngster.

Although the youngster is reportedly rated at £30 million, the Gunners could get him for less money.

Moving from Norwich to Arsenal would be a step-up, and the 21-year-old himself would be tempted to play for the North London club.
