Dani Ceballos is on loan at Arsenal from Real Madrid at the moment.

Daniel Ceballos of Spain looks dejected during the UEFA Euro 2020 qualifier between Sweden and Spain on October 15, 2019 in Solna, Sweden.

According to AS, Arsenal manager Unai Emery will “definitely” try to sign Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid in the summer of 2020.

Ceballos joined Arsenal on loan from Madrid in the summer transfer window and is playing well at the moment.

AS has claimed that although the Gunners have no purchase option in the 23-year-old’s loan deal, manager Emery will certainly try to land the Spain international attacking midfielder on a permanent contract despite knowing that it is going to be very difficult.

Recent comments about Real Madrid future

Ceballos recently told Marca that he plans to go back to Madrid when his loan spell at Arsenal ends at the end of the season.

The comments suggest that the former Real Betis star sees his long-term future at the Santiago Bernabeu, and it may not easy for Arsenal to convince the 23-year-old to make a permanent move to the Emirates Stadium in the summer of 2020.

According to WhoScored, Ceballos – who is valued at €70 million (£60.29m) by the CIES Football Observatory – has made eight appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal so far this season, providing two assists in the process.
