Arsenal boss Unai Emery is facing a pivotal season at the Emirates Stadium.

According to The Mirror, Arsenal players are worried about Unai Emery’s tactics, particularly after he switched to a 4-3-1-2 at Liverpool.
The Gunners haven’t exactly been convincing of late, but since throwing away a 2-0 lead at Watford to draw 2-2, they have won three in a row.
Beating Aston Villa 3-2 on Sunday was something an ordeal given that they were behind twice and had Ainsley Maitland-Niles sent off, and reports are emerging about Emery’s backing at the club.
It’s claimed that Arsenal players have been worried about his tactics recently, most notably because of his decision to play a narrow diamond against Liverpool.
Emery maybe wanted to block the space that Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane move into, but it just opened up acres of space for marauding full backs Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson to destroy the Gunners.
Emery’s coaching staff allegedly knew of the concerns within the ranks about such a tactic, but the Spaniard went ahead with it, and ultimately paid the price.

The report also adds that Emery’s poor English has been a problem at Arsenal, as have long warm-ups and video analysis as well as a distant demeanour.
Emery won’t really care what’s being reported about him as long as he can keep winning, and neither will Arsenal fans, but he will certainly look to iron out any issues as he pursues a top four finish.
