Leeds United now reportedly face competition for French talent Boubacar Kamara from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund, a club new manager Jesse March faced whilst at RB Leipzig.
According to Sport Bild, the German giants are ramping up their interest in the Olympique Marseille defensive midfielder, with the likes of Axel Witsel and Emre Can likely to leave Dortmund at the end of this season.
This summer is shaping up to be a huge one for Dortmund, with numerous key players expected to leave and some big names being linked with a move to the Signal Iduna Park club, with Kamara now on their radar.
As reported by the Telegraph, though, Leeds are also interested in the 22-year-old midfielder, with other sides such as Newcastle United and Atletico Madrid chasing Kamara, who is set to leave Marseille in May for free at the end of his contract.
With Marsch replacing Marcelo Bielsa this week, the American coach could make Kamara his first signing at Leeds if the Whites survive relegation come to the end of the season, yet interest from Dortmund could be difficult.
Indeed, the former RB Salzburg manager has already beaten Dortmund on the pitch this season in a 2-1 win for Leipzig back in November, and Marsch could now have to repeat the feat in the summer transfer window with Leeds and Kamara.

Kamara has been one of Marseille’s best players in recent years and will be a prime target for many clubs around Europe, and for Leeds and Marsch, they could be the ones to land the midfielder over Dortmund if they can survive in the Premier League.
Keeping top-flight status is crucial for Leeds’ future, and for Marsch, the goal of remaining in the Premier League will be his toughest task yet as a manager, especially with targets such as Kamara on offer if he can keep the Whites in the big-time.
