According to Sky Sports, Japhet Tanganga is concerned about his future at Tottenham under Antonio Conte.
What’s the story?
Well, the £23,077-a-week man is worried about what will happen to him when Eric Dier and Cristian Romero recover from injury.
Tanganga has made eight starts in the Premier League this season, although his last appearance in the Premier League came on Boxing Day.
Sky Sports believe AC Milan are interested in signing the 22-year-old on loan before the end of the January transfer window.
In our view, that deal could well materialise if Conte fails to give Tanganga assurances over his playing time.
The Spurs Academy graduate is also competing with Davinson Sanchez and Joe Rodon for a place in Conte’s backline.
With so many options, we can’t see how the Italian can guarantee playing time for Tanganga, so it’s certainly an interesting situation.
AC Milan could be the making of Japhet Tanganga at Tottenham

In our view, Tottenham should push to get Tanganga on loan at AC Milan, as it could do wonders for his development.
Just look at Fikayo Tomori, who joined the Italian giants on loan from Chelsea before starring at the San Siro.
AC Milan eventually parted with £30m to sign the 24-year-old on a permanent basis, and he’s now one of the best defenders in Italy.

Clearly, it can be a beneficial experience, and we feel it’s something Tanganga should try if he wants to become a regular starter at Spurs.
After all, Tomori could’ve walked straight back into the starting XI at Chelsea had there not been so much competition.
At Tottenham, there is less quality in the centre-back department, so Tanganga could easily come back a different player and make the position his own.
