Celtic are reportedly expected to complete the signing of Odsonne Edouard.

Sky Sports have claimed on their Transfer Centre on Thursday (13:23pm) that French clubs Lyon and Rennes are waiting in the wings if Celtic fail to complete the permanent signing of Edouard.
Edouard, 20, joined the Hoops on a season-long loan last summer from French champions Paris Saint-Germain, and has since starred despite playing a bit-part role due to competition from Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths.

The France youth international scored 11 goals in 29 league and cup appearances, including a hat-trick over Motherwell and a brace against Rangers in the 5-0 win in April.
Now, the report claims Celtic are looking to smash their transfer record in order to capture Edouard for £9million this summer, with the current record standing at £6million for John Hartson and Chris Sutton.

It is believed that Edouard’s representatives are travelling from Paris to London this lunchtime in order to complete a move to Celtic. But if a move falls through, Edouard has plenty of other suitors lined up.
Ligue 1 giants Lyon and Rennes are next in line to land the striker, and though Celtic have first option to sign the striker, if a move falls through then Edouard could return to his home country.
