Crystal Palace starlets Tayo Adaramola and Jesuran Rak-Sakyi are pushing to make their Premier League debuts before the end of the season, as reported by The Sun (4 April, page 61).

With the Eagles looking to dismantle one of the division’s oldest squads and put together an exciting crop of youngsters in their place, two home-grown talents could find themselves at the forefront of the exciting transition.

17-year-old Adaramola has been training with Roy Hodgson’s first team stars in recent weeks.

And The Sun reports the Irish left-back could be rewarded for his fine U18 form with a Premier League debut before the end of May.

Adaramola recently signed professional terms at Selhurst Park and did his burgeoning reputation no harm at all with a brilliant individual goal in a 4-1 thrashing of Fulham’s youngsters in January.

And if Adaramola has gone under the radar somewhat, the same can’t be said of Rak-Sakyi.

According to the Daily Mail in March, the gifted winger has turned down the chance to sign a two-year contract at Palace with his current deal expiring in the summer.

Celtic, Everton, West Ham United and a number of Bundesliga clubs are expressing interest after Rak-Sakyi produced a combined ten goals and assists in 15 games this season.

With The Sun suggesting Crystal Palace now plan to fast-track the teenager into Hodgson’s first-team plans, could Rak-Sakyi be convinced Selhurst Park is the ideal place to continue his development?

As Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Tyrick Mitchell will attest, young players get opportunities at Palace if they’re ready to seize them.
