Leicester City have reportedly decided to lower their asking price for James Maddison, who has been linked with Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur and Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United.
According to talkSPORT, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are interested in signing James Maddison from Leicester City in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that Tottenham have “always been Maddison’s preferred destination despite the fact Newcastle have been tracking him since last summer”.
TalkSPORT have added that while Leicester were initially looking for £60 million in transfer fees for Maddison, they are now decided to Lowe their asking price.
And Spurs believe that they could sign him for less than £60 million.

James Maddison boost for Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United
In our opinion, Leicester City’s new stance on James Maddison is very encouraging for Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.
Yes, the England international playmaker may prefer Tottenham to Newcastle, but anything is possible when the transfer window is open.
After all, the Magpies will play in the UEFA Champions League next season and are going places under owners PIF and head coach Eddie Howe.
And that Leicester are now willing to sell Maddison for less than £60 million is hugely encouraging for Spurs and Newcastle.
