Leeds United have long been linked with Adama Traore, but there is now reportedly a twist in the situation of the Wolverhampton Wanderers winger.
According to a report in Eurosport in February, Leeds are keen on signing the former Aston Villa and Barcelona winger in the summer of 2021.
Sport has reported interest from Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester City in the 25-year-old Spain international.
However, according to a new report, Traore may not leave Wolves this summer.
The Athletic has reported this morning that talks between the winger – described as “unbelievable” by West Ham United left-back Aaron Cresswell on the Premier League’s YouTube channel earlier this season – and Wolves over a new contract have ‘moved from deadlocked to ongoing’.
It seems that Leeds could be disappointed in their quest to sign Traore.

However, it would not be a massive loss really, especially if they are able to sign Jack Harrison on a permanent contract.
Now in his third year on loan at Leeds from Manchester City, the winger has been superb in the Premier League this season and has been very impressive.
Don’t forget that Leeds also have the brilliant Raphinha, and Rodrigo is also able to play out on the wing.
