Tottenham Hotspur look set to land Ange Postecoglou – and he wants two Celtic men to follow him to North London.
Ange Postecoglou wants Celtic duo John Kennedy and Gavin Strachan to join him at Tottenham Hotspur.
That is according to the Daily Record, who claim that Postecoglou is is nearing a move to Spurs.
The Australian wants to offer a Premier League chance to both Kennedy and Strachan, two key parts of his Celtic coaching staff.
Kennedy is Celtic through and through having come up through the club’s youth ranks.
Even when Kennedy’s playing career was cut short due to injury, he was kept around as a scout and then a coach.
Kennedy worked his way ups from the Under-19’s to eventually become the assistant manager of the first team.
Leaving Celtic won’t be easy for Kennedy but he may see this as a huge opportunity.
Strachan – the son of Gordon Strachan – joined Celtic in 2020 having previously been on Darren Ferguson’s staff at Doncaster Rovers and Peterborough United.
The 44-year-old serves as first-team coach at Celtic and may now be tempted back towards English football.

What about Harry Kewell following Ange Postecoglou to Tottenham?
The one man this doesn’t account for is another Celtic first-team coach – Harry Kewell.
A former Premier League star with Leeds United and Liverpool, Kewell has turned to coaching in recent years.
After a spell as Watford’s under-23 boss, Kewell took over at Crawley Town, Notts County, Oldham Athletic and Barnet.
Kewell has endured mixed fortunes with his managerial career and decided to go and learn from compatriot Postecoglou at Celtic.
Yet it’s now unclear whether Postecoglou will take Kewell with him given that Kennedy and Strachan are the only targets named.
The Daily Mail report that Postecoglou has now told Celtic that he wants to go to Tottenham.
Celtic will hate to lose their manager – especially just days after he completed the domestic treble by winning the Scottish Cup.
The Bhoys may now face even more upheaval though with Postecoglou considering taking staff with him to Tottenham.
