Glasgow Rangers boss Steven Gerrard confirmed Sadiq’s loan was cancelled.

Glasgow Rangers’ summer signing of Umar Sadiq could not have gone much worse.
Steven Gerrard has given Rangers the green light to terminate Sadiq’s loan, The Sun reported.
News of Sadiq’s Rangers spell coming to an early end has reached Italy, where he is contracted to Roma.
It is not expected that he will be without a club for long.
La Roma 24 report four Serie B clubs are expected to scrap for Sadiq’s signature.
The report names Crotone, Spezia, Perugia and Lecce as teams who Sadiq could head to in January.

Sadiq will need another loan to establish himself after his unsuccessful stint at Rangers.
The Nigerian forward’s goal was to make an impression and even catch Roma’s eye, but he is a long way off their first team.
Motivated by his failure, Sadiq will have to try to prove Rangers wrong and choose his next club carefully.
