Tottenham Hotspur look set to wave a temporary goodbye to last year’s deadline day signing.

According to Turkish publication Fanatik, Trabzonspor look set to sign Moussa Sissoko on loan, with the player allegedly flying in later today to complete his medical.
The French international only arrived at Spurs last summer, in a bizarre late deal from Newcastle United, and he has struggled to make any significant impact since then.

Some put that down to a lack of pre-season while others feel Sissoko is simply not up to the task. But whatever the reason it seems he will not be pulling on a Tottenham shirt again this season.
Fanatic claim the player will arrive in Turkey today on a private jet and that, if all goes according to plan, he will earn £3.2million for the season.
It is also suggested that no loan fee will be paid to Tottenham, which will be particularly interesting if true, given Spurs chairman Daniel Levy’s desire to get the best possible deal wherever possible.

On this occasion he may have opted to overlook such a fee if Trabzonspor are willing to pick up Sissoko’s wages in full, thus getting him off the payroll.
Tottenham have already sold Kyle Walker to Manchester City and if Sissoko follows they will be somewhat slim as they bid to mount a title challenge while also impressing in the Champions League.
That said, there could be a few more arrivals to follow Paulo Gazzaniga and Davinson Sanchez to North London before the transfer window slams shut next Thursday.
