Sunderland need to offload the high earning Papy Djilobodji before the transfer window closes.

Papy Djilobodji is nearing an exit from Sunderland with Turkish outlet Takvim reporting that Trabzonspor have made a loan offer for the defender.
The Super Lig side are convinced that Djilobodji is tempted by the move with the Chronicle reporting the 29-year-old has no future at the Stadium of Light.
The Senegal international has not even returned for pre-season training, along with teammate Didier Ndong, following the Black Cats’ relegation to League One.
This has led manager Jack Ross to say that the duo are “generally forgotten about” and offloading the pair could allow the Wearsiders to retain the services of Lee Cattermole and Bryan Oviedo – two other highly paid players linked with moves away.
Trabzonspor face competition for the signing of Djilobodji with the Sunderland Echo reporting Dijon are also interested, while Hannover president Martin Kind has spoken openly about their interest in the centre-back and Norwich City’s Timm Klose.

Djilobjodji’s Sunderland career has been a disaster ever since he arrived on Wearside for £8million from Chelsea and fans will be desperate to see the back of the centre-half, who made 18 appearances during their relegation from the Premier League.
The Senegalese defender did not appear in the Championship last season, going out on loan to Dijon where he finished 11th in Ligue 1.
